Quinta do Paraiso is a family holiday resort in Carvoeiro, one of the most desirable holiday destinations in the heart of the Algarve, on the southern coast of Portugal.
Built in typical Moorish style, Quinta do Paraiso is situated on a platform about 1 km from the beach of Praia do Carvoeiro, scattered on a large area of 300'000m2 in the midst of well kept gardens with fig, almond and olive trees and an abundance of tropical plants.
In a 10 minutes walk you can reach the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro. The resort offers a variety of restaurants and bars. There are several sports & entertainment facilities on the resort and an animation team will keep you and/or your children amused and happy.
KIDS CLUB
Clube Q is the mini-paradise for our young clientele. From the age of 4 years up to 12 years, there are attractive sports and entertainment activities. Situated on the hill overlooking the pool, the Clube Q is in a secluded, fenced area which makes it easy to control the children. In a wooden cottage there is everything needed for the small ones to be happy. A qualified attendant speaking several languages is available to look after and take care of the children.
From April to October the Clube Q is open six days per week during some hours in the morning and in the afternoon. During low season opening hours might be adjusted and programs adapted to requests of clients. Fees apply.
During the months of July and August the Clube Q is sometimes also open in the evenings
ENTERTAINMENT
The animation team is in action several days per week during the season. From day-time activities like gymnastics in the morning to table tennis or beach volley ball in the afternoon to evening entertainment, such as Karaoke, shows, games or regular live music or traditional folclore dance performance.
There are also special Teenager programs, such as portuguese lessons, beach tours, Carvoeiro-by- night, etc.
The animation team is multilingual and especially trained in various aspects of guest entertainment.

TENNIS
In the heart of the resort we have three tennis courts (hard courts). You can book the courts at the reception. Racquet and Balls are also available for rental at the reception.
If you would like to find a playing partner, there is a list at the reception where you can enscribe.
An extra charge is required for the flood lights if the guest wishes that they are turned on.
Tennis teachers are available upon request through the reception.

MINI GOLF AND PLAY AREA
Behind the Trattoria Oliveira Restaurant there is a nice, quiet and peaceful garden area for playing and relaxation.
There is a 16 hole minigolf course, a beach volleyball court, French bowls, and some equipment for the little ones.
You can obtain all the equipment for these facilities at the reception. Fees apply
In the area of the main swimmingpools there is also table tennis, darts and billiard
SHOP
In the center of the resort, close to the reception, you will find the Minimarket. The store sells all the necessities that you will need during your holidays. Furthermore, daily newspapers and other non-food items are sold.
During the season, the Minimarket is open every day from 09.00h - 12.30h and 16.00h - 19.00h.

"Trattoria Oliveira" restaurant and bar is conveniently located in the heart of the resort, across from the reception. The atmosphere of the Trattoria Oliveira is very friendly and cosy. Inside, a colorful, mediterranean decoration and various seating arrangements offer an agreeable atmosphere for our guests. Most clients however, love to sit on the terrace under the century old olive tree in order to wine and dine in a relaxed manner. This classic Italian restaurant offers the finest Pastas and Pizzas, available to take away, served by a team of friendly professional staff.
"Restaurant Rabelo" Set on a beautiful spacious terrace overlooking the stunning pools and gardens of Quinta do Paraiso, the resort's a la carte restaurant, "Rabelo" offers a delicious selection of international specialities and traditional Portuguese cuisine. Dining under the stars, you can eat the freshest food with everything made in-house, using carefully sourced ingredients from around Portugal and of course, our signature dish "Chicken Piri Piri".
As the sun goes down and the pool lights come up, watch as the evening is transformed into a delightful, relaxing ambience, setting the mood for the night's entertainment. Look out during peak season for our "Theme Night" Barbecue. "Caravela Cocktail Bar" is situated in an excellent location overlooking the entire pool area and is a comfortable place to meet to have a quick drink or snack during the day. A wide selection of cold and warm snacks, ice creams and a large variety of soft and alcoholic drinks as well as a fantastic cocktail menu with more than 70 different cocktails are served by our friendly, multilingual bartenders. During the season it is also the place to have a cocktail before and/or a
coffee and "digestive" after dinner accompanied by music. Regular entertainment is offered with programmes such as Live Music, Karaoke, DJ Pool Parties, DVD-Music Concerts on big screen or games organized by the animation team. All
our entertainments takes place alongside the pool area near the Caravela Bar, usually after dinner time. It is the central focus point of the resort where everyone staying at the resort will pass by several times a day It is therefore the place to meet some old friends or to make some new ones.
